We may collect personal information such as names, contact details, and any information shared with us during the planning of a service. This may also include written memories, photographs, and other materials provided for the purpose of creating memorial content.

How we use your information

Information is used solely for the purpose of planning, coordinating, and delivering your memorial or celebration of life service. This includes communication with you, service preparation, and the creation of curated materials such as video tributes and printed materials.

We do not sell, share, or use your information for any marketing purposes.

Storage of materials

Photographs and curated video tributes created by Banksia are stored securely for a period of six (6) months following the service. After this time, all digital files are permanently deleted unless otherwise requested in writing prior to deletion.

This timeframe is in place to support families who may wish to request copies after the service, while also ensuring we minimise the long-term storage of sensitive personal material.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to ensure all personal information is stored securely and protected from unauthorised access, misuse, or disclosure.
