These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Banksia and the client engaging our services. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.

Our service

Banksia provides the planning, coordination, and facilitation of memorial and celebration of life services. The specific inclusions of your service are outlined in your Payment & Service Agreement provided at the time of booking.

Third-party providers

We may, from time to time, recommend or share details of third-party providers who work within this space, including celebrants, venues, photographers, catering providers, and technical suppliers.

These recommendations are provided in good faith. However, Banksia does not accept liability for the services, advice, pricing, availability, or outcomes of any third-party provider. We recommend engaging directly with these providers to confirm their suitability, terms, and conditions prior to booking.

Resources and guidance

We also provide curated external resources and service providers via our website. These are offered as guidance only. While care is taken in selecting these resources, Banksia is not responsible for the accuracy, performance, or outcomes of third-party services or information.

Payment

Payment terms are outlined in your Payment & Service Agreement. Full payment is required prior to the service taking place. Failure to make payment by the agreed time may result in postponement of services.

Cancellations and changes

As services are prepared in advance and often commence immediately following confirmation, cancellation terms will reflect work already undertaken.

If a service is cancelled, any costs incurred up to that point may be charged. We will always work with families to ensure clarity and fairness in these situations.

Requests to change service details will be accommodated where possible, depending on timing and availability.

Intellectual and creative materials

All curated materials created by Banksia, including video tributes, design work, and printed assets, remain the intellectual property of Banksia. Families are granted full personal use of all delivered materials.

These materials must not be resold, redistributed commercially, or altered for external commercial use without prior written consent.

Storage of digital materials

Photographs and curated video tributes are stored securely for a period of six (6) months following the service. After this time, all digital files are permanently deleted unless a written request for retention is received prior to deletion.

Limitation of liability

Banksia will take all reasonable care in the coordination and delivery of services. However, we are not liable for indirect loss, delay, or issues arising from third-party services, venue conditions, or external suppliers.
