Payment & Service Agreement

At Banksia, our role is to hold space for you while we take care of the planning, coordination, and delivery of a meaningful and considered service. This section outlines what is included in your service fee, as well as how payment is managed.

What your service includes

Your service fee covers the full coordination and facilitation of your memorial or celebration of life. This includes:

  • A dedicated planning session with family members to share memories and shape the service

  • Guidance in structuring the ceremony and storytelling

  • Coordination of all elements including speakers and suppliers

  • Venue sourcing and logistical planning where required

  • Photo curation of up to 60 images, thoughtfully arranged into a video tribute set to music

  • Design and printing of up to 60 printed service cards

  • Ongoing communication and support throughout the process

  • On-the-day coordination to ensure the service is delivered seamlessly and with care

Additional printed service cards can be arranged at cost and are charged accordingly.

Each service is individually shaped, but always grounded in the same intention: to create a space that feels personal, thoughtful, and true to the person being honoured.

What is not included

To ensure full transparency, the following are not included in your service fee and are arranged separately where required:

  • Venue hire

  • Council permits or regulatory approvals

  • Catering, drinks, and beverage service

  • Celebrant fees

  • Photography services

  • Live streaming or video recording services

Where needed, we can assist in coordinating or recommending trusted providers for these services.

Payment terms

Once your arrangements are confirmed, an invoice will be issued. Payment is required prior to the service.

You may choose to pay via:

  • Bank transfer (preferred) – no additional fees apply

  • Credit card (via Stripe) – a processing fee of 2.9% is applied by our payment provider

This fee is not retained by Banksia and is applied only to cover the cost of card processing.

As a small business providing a highly personalised, time-sensitive service, we require full payment prior to the service taking place. This ensures all arrangements can be delivered seamlessly and allows us to focus entirely on supporting families before and during the service.
